Brighid’s Lights of Imbolc
This workshop will be exploring our connections and "herstory" of the Goddess Brigid who is one of the Great Triple Goddesses of Ireland the Goddess of poetry, fertility and smithing. Also, known as Saint Brighid.
With the light of consciousness as her flame, Brighid guides us through the darkness, breathing new life into the land, bringing us into spring. This is a time for initiation, redirection, consecration and purification, as the light returns.
This class includes:
-Learning about the pagan festival Imolg
-The story of Goddess Brighid
-Basic creation of sacred space
-Ritual etiquette
-Writing poetry inspired by the Goddess
-Elements and their meanings
-Sharing
-Trance/guided meditation
-Provided specially blended tea and bread.
Bring a journal and pen.
Bring an object to place on center altar.
2 -hour class which includes a reclaiming ritual.
$35 per person.
