Magical Writing

This workshop is designed for you to tap into your inner muse and creative flow. We will fire up our inspiration to express ourselves in writing and words. Everyone can be a writer. Whether it’s journaling for yourself, writing poetry, short stories, memoirs, or novels. We all have a story to tell.

We will be using different witchy writing prompts and Tarot cards to awaken the flow of words and strengthen your writing skills. This class is not about grammar, sentence structure or what you learned in school. It is about letting your words pour onto paper without judgement.

Using our visions, spells and dreams we will be writing about the world we envision for the future.

Tea and snacks, as well as all supplies provided!

Welcoming the Dark Witch Within; Samhain’s Day of the Dead Ritual

Welcoming the Dark Witch Within; Samhain’s Day of the Dead Ritual

I am so excited to travel to Canada and collaborate with the Canadian witch school there. I feel it’s important to weave the web of magic all around the world.

Not for beginners nor pets nor children.

Come out and wild-out with drums and rattles and howl like wolves as we shapeshift with our presiding Goddess: Lilith.

Wear a clothes of mourning or cloaks and be whomever fantastical or true that you want to invoke tonight where the veil between the living and the dead are thinnest.

We will mostly sing and chant and dance.

We are joined by AURORA RAVEN DRAGONFLY ( Julie Anne Stratton) of the south who will share in our sacred ritual of the north to honour Samhain and its thin Veils.

Samhain, the original inspiration behind today's Halloween, carries a depth of meaning far beyond mere celebration. It marks the end of season, a time of transition where we are called to release what no longer serves us and draw closer to the thin veil between the living and the dead.

As the Sun wanes and the nights grow long and we reap from the 3rd and final harvest of this growing season, we are also turn inwards, nurture our inner fires, and end with finding solace in the company of our fellow witches. The encroaching darkness, it is a time to remember that there is beauty even in loss, and that the darkness need not be feared but revered as an essential part of the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth.

This Samhain, we invoke the presence of Lilith, the fierce and powerful embodiment of feminine autonomy and rebellion, to preside over our ritual. Lilith, the first woman who refused to be subjugated, symbolizes the strength and resilience within each of us. She guides us to embrace our shadows, reclaim our sovereignty, and transform our grief into empowerment.

With Lilith as our guide, we will connect with our lost loved ones, honour their wisdom, and celebrate their lives in a space where the feminine spirit reigns supreme.

Just as autumn leaves have fallen to the earth, we too can let go of the old and unnecessary, sweeping away the cobwebs of the past and take time to sleep and rest and go underground. In this shared ritual space in the forest and by the campfire, we will explore the intimate connections between grief and gratitude, sorrow and intimacy, love and loss.

Together, we will work with real veils, uncovering the gifts hidden in the shadows, and embrace the transformative power that Samhain offers and return the veil and return the ghosts and spirits and sprites back to their motherlands.

This sacred opportunity only comes once a year. Let us make the most of it together, watched over by Lilith, in a space that is safe, connected, and full of forested private beauty.
